You've grown some dahlias and dug up a huge tuber clump, but then what?! Do you know how to divide it properly so that you can grow more plants next season? I can help you!

In this class I will show you:

how to prepare your clump of tubers for dividing
importance of sanitising your tools
what disease indicators to look out for
how to identify the key parts of the tuber for viability
how to divide them
labelling and storage methods

I will provide all class participants with a clump of dahlia tubers to practice your dividing. You can then trade with each other and keep them to plant! So you'll end up with a fun collection of dahlia tubers to take home.

You are also welcome to bring a clump that you want me to help you divide.
