Belinda's Bloomers Dahlia Tuber Dividing Class

You've grown some dahlias and dug up a huge tuber clump, but then what?! Do you know how to divide it properly so that you can grow more plants next season? I can help you!

In this class I will show you:

• how to prepare your clump of tubers for dividing
• importance of sanitising your tools
• what disease indicators to look out for
• how to identify the key parts of the tuber for viability
• how to divide them
• labelling and storage methods

I will provide all class participants with a clump of dahlia tubers to practice your dividing. You can then trade with each other and keep them to plant! So you'll end up with a fun collection of dahlia tubers to take home.

You are also welcome to bring a clump that you want me to help you divide.
