Belinda's Bloomers Dahlia Garden Tour
This summer I will be opening my garden occasionally for tours of my dahlias! It will be your special opportunity to see my Gradient Flower Field, the Ball Pit, the White Wedding Zone, the Valentines Day-lia area, my DNF Zone, my Experimental Garden Surprise, and the Hydrangea Forest.
December 1-14: Free Tours!
My garden is only just starting to have the first blooms, so I'm offering free tours so you can get an idea of what is coming for the rest of summer. There are not many flowers, but you will see how I've planted my dahlia plants, and where you can have bouquet party events with your friends on my deck in the coming months.
Summer/Autumn Tours:
- Later in the summer when all the flowers are blooming, grab your friends and book in a date and time you want to come for a guided tour.
- I will take you around the various garden zones and tell you about the flowers.
- You can enjoy my garden and deck for one hour. We usually have a coffee van available so you can relax amongst the flowers and enjoy a drink.
- The tour costs $5 per person, but this is credited towards anything you buy.
What can I buy? You can buy bouquets of flowers (changing all the time, depending on what's blooming). You can also buy dahlia plants so you can grow what I'm growing! Check the Belinda's Bloomers Facebook Page for photos of what is blooming each week to give you an idea of what might be available.
Accessibility: This is a private tour of my home garden, and it is not fully accessible for wheelchairs and prams. The ground surface is uneven, and many areas are covered in bark. There are a couple of steps.
Can I pick flowers? Sorry, no, Belinda's Bloomers does not offer Pick Your Own flowers, as harvesting dahlias must be done in a way to ensure the plants do not share germs. But you are welcome to request flowers for me to harvest for you!
Can I pop by any time for a tour? Belinda's Bloomers Garden Tour is at my private house, so I do need to know if you're coming. Please book in a tour so I can be ready to meet you! You can get in touch with me if it's at short notice and you want to check if I'm available. We are not open for self-guided tours.
