Mystery Ball Dahlias
This is a mystery! I bought a selection of tubers from a grower last year who didn't know which was which and I grew them - but I planted them in a bad location so there were no flowers for me to work it out! (By bad, I mean, in a location that the lawnmower guy accidentally savaged). But they put all their energy into tuber production, and have been very busy sprouting so I have lots of cuttings too.
This picture is generic, but as soon as I have my own flowers to verify, I will update it. I have included the picture from the person I bought them from which shows the expected flowers they could be. These could be White Aster, Brown Sugar, Rocco, Jan van Schlaffelaar, Sylvia, or Viking. But, it is a mystery, so you have to be ok with this surprise!
So, there's four different options, and I have labelled them separately as number 77, 78, 79, 80. As soon as one flowers and I can identify it, then all the plants from that group can be named. If you want different flowers, pick multiple different numbers (and I just hope that I was sent a mixture of all different flowers!!)
I'm growing plenty in my garden this year - and you can have the opportunity to grow it too! I have tubers and cuttings available.
This is a dahlia that I have grown for one season in my garden.
