Understanding Employment

This is part of our Youth Enterprise and Communications Confidence Programme.

So you are looking for a job! This workshop is a useful tool to look at useful things you need to know about going through this process.

For example:

- how do you know what an employment contract means?
- what are your rights as an employee?
- how do holidays work?
- what is Kiwisaver for? (we are not a financial advisor, so will not be providing financial advice, but we will look through the Kiwisaver website)
- how do you work out your Tax Code?
- and other employment-related discussion topics and websites

This session is usually on Wednesday afternoons, but we can also add evening sessions by request.
