Not entirely sure what this interesting flower is! I bought the tuber as 'Christine' and perhaps this could be a second year seedling of Christine. It also looks a bit like Crazy Love. It is a waterlily type and it closes and night, even in a vase! It looks like its long petal are grasping out to grab things as it closes up, so I've been calling it "The Grasper" in the meantime! Lovely purple petal edges, and looks lovely in a bouquet.

Quite wide flowers.

You can pre-order tubers soon. This is a dahlia tuber that I have grown for one season in my home garden, and previously was grown in someone else's home garden.
